Mold is everywhere it is extreamly nasty. The jail has a section that is falling apart from the jail (the block). The inmates don't even get a mat to lay on. The food is not good enough to feed to an animal. The inmates don't get a phone call for days. The staff won't tell the inmates if they have a bond so most find out when they go back to court. The staff is extremely rude to not only the inmates but the families as of the inmates as well. This place needs shut down. It is inhumane.
They treat you like an animal. Most times they don't have mats and cover and they throw you in a concrete room to sleep on the floor. As I was told by someone in the drunk tank, who spent a week there, the floors weren't cleaned once. I think the temperature stays around 60, very very cold. They don't uphold the Constitution by giving you a phone call. It was the most degrading, dehumanizing experience of my life. Just because you go to jail doesn't mean you are an animal, so why does the government let this continue to transpire?. Also you r charged 135.00 dollars booking fee and u r very lucky to get a cheap toothpaste and travel size paste. U have to beg for toilet paper and feminine products, and u r lucky if you get them in 24 hours. My animals are treated better. I can't imagine how one human could treat others this way, and the state of KY doesn't mind it either. How do these people sleep at night????!??????
Failure to comply with D. O. C. guidelines for caloric intake; failure to comply with regulations regarding cleanliness, adequte bedding, adequate clothing, the right to not live in fear of being beat by staff members if their family member calls D. O. C. SAD!

IT'S JAIL IT'S NOT VERY ACCOMMODATING BUT I'VE BEEN IN WORSE JAILS LIKE FLOYD CO JAIL , RATHER BE IN BSRDC THAN FLOCO ANYTIME ALTHOUGH WHEN THERE IN 2015 THEY HAD A OUTBREAK OF LICE. I'VE NEVER EVER HAD IT AND CAUGHT IT SEVERAL TIMES HERE. THEY DEFINITELY NEED TO GO BACK TO MAKING EVERYONE SHOWER AND USE THE LICE KILL SHAMPOO B4 GOING TO THE BACK
