I would NOT recommend seeking an insurance policy through these people. Generally, Kentucky Farm Bureau offers decent coverage at competitive rates. Having said that, The people that have been hired to work there, some have been there several years, Have an absolutely AWFUL attitude. If you can't afford "full-coverage" YOU are treated like you are something less then a human being. GREG MEADE, the simpleton they elected to be in charge, Is one of the most sarcastic, egotistical, most condescending people I have ever had the displeasure of meeting. Every month I walk in and pay with cash and every month GREG and his incompetent colleagues go out of there way to make me feel like I should get a prize for being the dumbest person to enter their office. I paid out, and paid out for years and when I got into my very first accident, GREG MEADE lied to my face several times, making up excuse after excuse. He even tried to convince me that the officer who wrote the report had "thrown me under the bus" and stated the accident was totally "MY FAULT" when this officer, not 10 minutes beforehand, took me through the ENTIRE report WORD FOR WORD. this county cop broke his back to help me through this stuff, a complete STRANGER....because he is a good man and an honest cop. The report didn't place any blame on anyone involved, and instead, placed all the blame on the county's NEGLAGENCE. GREG MEADE then told lie after lie after lie and purposely tried to instigate a confrontation, smirking and saying "We're just not gonna do it." These people took money from me for years and years and when I needed that, so called, "protection" I WAS NOT COVERED. GREG MEADE and his lying bunch of imbeciles at the Paintsville Location ARE NOT FIT TO WORK WITH THE GENERAL PUBLIC. The lies I was told, the way I have been treated is totally un-called for and I WILL be taking this matter up Farm Bureau's main office, seeking retribution for all of the agony caused by GREG MEADES incompetence.. They WILL screw you out of every dime they can get and then "cut and run" when you need coverage. Be SMART, and TAKE YOUR BUSINESS ELSEWHERE.
